Does the truck need to be shut off but key on before changing tunes or using the custom configuration? I thought I read somewhere it does but the manual doesn't say it anywhere (or I glossed over it...)

Thanks. That's what I thought. The sad thing is I just paged throught the manual again and still can't find it! It mentions it on the initial installation and setup but I can't see where it says to shut the truck off but key on to change programs or custom settings. Just blind I guess...

 

Item 5 on page 10 of my manual.

With the Pod and Evolution securely in place turn ignition key ON. Then plug the cable into the OBDII connector. Afer this you follow their instructions for programming. So if you want to reprogram, you would start at this same spot.
