I'm 17 and I just started paying on my first truck. Its a black 04 F150 4.6 2WD Supercab. It has dual flowmasters and no other after market anything. I don't have much money to work with and absolutely NO experience under the hood of a truck but I want to make this a street scene truck none the less. I was wanting to get a programmer, tuner, or a chip or something to make my truck more powerful. I'm not too worried about gas mileage but it would be nice to get a couple more MPGs. What can i get for under 400$ that is simple to install and will actually give me something i can feel?

Personally I use Troyer Performance for the goods and I recommend you give Mike a call and see what he has to offer ya

 

VMP Tuning sells the Xcal2 and Xcal3 with three custom tunes for that price. I highly recommend going that route. The turn around time is quick, tunes are awesome, and great customer service.

I installed a hpertech programmer super easy Installation just plug and play, the guys above know what they are talking about I just didn't feel like messing with custom tunes and the like so I just went simple and it was about 370
