I know, Im pathetic for living on this forum loving my truck and still not having it tuned. Shortly, my B day is in August so I am just going to buy myself a present

I used to get 16.8 city before my Edge Evo, waiting on the results since I just got my Edge literally yesterday. I was sure I could milk 18 or 19 mpg out of my truck before the Edge but I got kinda lazy and stopped doing my little fuel efficient tricks. I'm expecting over 20 with the Edge in city driving, the trick is to keep your truck moving, watch the lights ahead of you, and constantly think about how you need to be accelerating/decelerating to keep you moving. Has anyone lowered their idle RPM with the Edge? I'm 100% positive this would help on gas mileage but I am still on 'edge' about doing my own custom tuning.

I'm quite satisfied with the canned tunes in my Edge so far. I've been running on level 2 and using 87 octane Shell gas with no ethanol. I bought it to adjust my speedometer and shift point's to run the 35" tires. Since I moved in March I have close to a hundred mile a day round trip commute to work and I'm getting a consistent 16 to 18 mpg avg. This is also with having to deal with about 20 traffic lights on the way. For a heavy 4x4 truck on 35's this is amazing. Low end torque and shift point's have improved greatly. I guess sooner or later I'll have to go with the custom tunes. Just scared my mileage will drop!
