well i received my XCal 3 custom tuned by VMP today. I got a 87 perf, 87 mil, and 89 perf. i put the 87 perf in as the first on out of the gate, and WOW i felt the better throttle response, and even a little bit deeper exhaust note from the higher A/F ratio. All i have to say is im very pleased! i havent had the chance yet to try out the 89 or 8 mil, but will post when i do! i plan on hitting the local 1/8 mi before going back to school, just to see what she will do now.(with 89 perf tune).

i will also do a dyno this fall, and post that up. hopefully will get close to 200 @ wheels.

Yea. I cant wait to see what kind of gains I get with the mileage tune. but this livewire stuff. is it free? or do i have to buy it?

 

I've been running Troyer's tunes for over a year now, but recently took the plunge and ordered 2 tunes (87 & 92 Perf) from Justin. Haven't had a chance to run them yet because I just got the 87 today, but my trucks at the shop getting the mirrors PTM. My plan is to have the truck dyno'd running the 2 tunes and compare the numbers, thinking they'll probably come out pretty near the same though. I'm actually looking forward to installing Justin's 87 tune though just to see if there's any seat of the pants feeling difference from Troyer's.
