Just a couple of questions

ok so i am planning on getting a tuner for my 07 Screw 5.4 in about a week. i bought the truck about 2 months ago and it already had exhaust. no sure what brand, its duals out the rear and sounds bad ***. and just recently (about 2 weeks ago) put on a K&N CAI. so what im wondering is since the mods are already on the truck is ther anything i should know or do before i order/install the tuner? It seems like the Xcal 2 is the way to go from what i read. So if you read this justin i would really like to hear from you

As far as a tuning stand point, the main thing to be concerned with is the addition of the air intake. Just let Justin know what you've got and he'll make the needed adjustments.

You can add E-fans or UD pulleys later and no tune change is required. You will easily see 20rwhp/20rwtq on a 5.4L 3V on 87 octane, a little more on 93, and even greater numbers at some parts of the curve.

What would E-Fans or UD pulleys do?

E Fans stand for "electric fans". They will remove the fan that uses your motor's power to power it. They are a great mod that frees up some hp.

UDPs stand for underdrive pullies, these are the pullies on the front of the motor. They power the "accessories" like alternator, power steering, etc. UDPs slow that stuff down to give you more power.
