This question has already been asked here... https://www.f150online.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=338060

Undoubtedly, I've made my opinion quite clear and so have a few others. As they say, "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is."

Happy holiday!

Anything that claims those gains, while offering the same "chip" for the same vehicle over an 18 year range ('90-'08) is bogus.

Would you believe?!

*All HP and Torque gains are estimates based on engine size and any other performance modifications you already might have. We guarantee the gains we have listed or your money back. MPG gains are estimated and may vary depending on driving style and/or city/highway MPG.

How can they say gains are estimated, but guarantee that you will gain the listed 50+hp and torque. Sounds like if you don't gain 50+ hp/tq then you recieve your money back.

Yeah, they do say you'll get a refund but you will lose the shipping charges both ways. They keep the $6.00 or $8.00 or whatever they charge for shipping and then YOU have to pay to ship it back for you refund. Then they sell the same unit to someone else and stick them for a few bucks as well. It really doesn't cost them anything but time. And if someone doesn't return it, then they really make out.

But hey... it's not my money and you are free to try it if you like. It's possible I am wrong and they've got the magic product we've all been waiting for. Just don't expect me to hold my breath on that one.

Oh, I'm definitely not trying it. I agree with you Bill, rip off city. I was just pointing out that they are being a little contradictive. Guaranteeing estimated gains.
