speedo recalibrators

who would realy want one of these speedometer recalibrators for $224 when you could just spend an extra $180 for the flashpaq and get more power and torque and mpg's. it would pay for itself in the long run. and you can still recalibrate your speedometer with it. just my opinion. whats your opinion on this?

If you are talking about your '93 it can't be calibrated with a tuner. Electronic calibration starts with '99. You would have to change the speedo gear.

no i'm not talking about this for my truck i'm just wondering whats the point in getting these when you can get the flashpaq and get your money's worth in fuel and gain horsepower and torque. and still be able to correct your speedometer.

Just checking I do agree that the price verses what you get doesn't make sense but I bet they are selling a few. I shop so much on ebay full price for anything doesn't work for me. Bought my new Superchips tuner on ebay new for $209.00 delivered from a store that was liquidating inventory.

The problem is there is so much cost tied up in the hardware that you can't really go much cheaper than that. There are cheaper alternatives though...

It's not as fancy as a programmer, but it gets the job done if all you need is to correct your speedo.

Take care.
