I have noticed my edge is slowly getting darker and darker to the point where i could not even see it anymore if i had it set to 100% blue which is where i have ran it for almost a year, now i have it to 100% green just to see it and it's getting worse, it looks like theres some "hot spots" under the screen and the box that carries the guages is almost all dark in whatever color i choose, help!

 

Contact Edge. Sounds like the display is just going bad.

 

sounds like what i had?
almost like burn in? not completely black but spotty enough to have a hard time reading.. luckily i recieved a newer version due to software and firmware conflicts.
but yah i would try contacting edge and see what they can do.
and don't volunteer information only give them what they ask for..

might be high heat...when my truck is really hott, my screen turns black when it cools down it's fine.

 

Mine used to do that, too. I think the OP means it's doing it all the time though. I've heard of screens going bad, too.

 

I've noticed my display is also getting kinda dim, more so in the lower left corner than anywhere else....If it takes a crap oh well, all the more reason to get a Gryphon!
