help, custom tunes, x3, liveload !!

I don't know what the hell I'm doing. I downloaded the drivers for the X3. Everytime I try to open liveload I get a loopback error. Is it possible theres a different liveload for the xcal2 and the x3 and I have the wrong one? I can't even find where to download liveload at on the SCT website. Horrible website. Help someone!

Nevermind. After I downloaded my tunes and read the instructions that come with it I figured it out. I jumped the gun a bit. For future reference for anyon else with problems... don't kill yourself looking for liveload if you have an X3. Download the software updater. Liveload is built into it.

Yeah. I was at my buddy's shop getting my tires put on when I got the call. When I got home I started trying to figure out the tunes. I figured how hard could it be right? Yeah, Ha. The directions in the email said to download LiveLoad and the Xcal2 drivers which I thought was strange because I have the X3. After a while I got the drivers for the X3 but still couldn't find LiveLoad. Finally I decided to just download everything I pssibly could for the X3 and I got what I needed. The worst part was the SCT website would just stop working every few minutes for me. After 5 minutes or so would go by it would work again. The downloads would all stop half way through. What a pain. Horrible website. Great tunes though. Truck runs like a champ. I installed them at like 10:30 at night. Got on the highway and mashed it. Awesome. Best part is I drove out to Carlisle yesterday for the All Ford Nationals and kept it under 70 the entire way and went from 11.5mpg to 15+. Some of that obviously from keeping it under 70 though. But not all because the week before I took it very easy on the truck and got 11.5 so go figure. By the way, they're Troyer Tunes. And once I downloaded the tunes and decompressed them, I read the instruction included which are crystal clear. I hadn't realized there was another set of instruction inside the download with the tunes. Had I known that I would have saved myself a couple of hours trying to figure it out.

The SCT's new website layout is weird. It's hard to find stuff but when you do, you can find it again.

Try driving at or about 55 MPH. It's hard, I know. But it feels like the truck is in gear and your foot barely even touches the accelerator. You only have it in the 1500 - 1600 RPM range. Your mileage will go up well over 20. I've seen up to 27 MPG.

I was cruising 1700 or 1800 at about 68/69 mph for the most part. I'm pretty content with that. 55mph is really pushing it. I don't know if I can do that. Haha.

Up to 27 mpgs? I find that hard to believe.
