2004+ F150s do not use chips. They use programmers. Regardless check the classified section. However keep in mind you usually get what you pay for. A lot of people have tried to use Ebay and the classifieds to save a few bucks and ended up getting a tuner that wasn't unlocked.

Basically they still had the tune loaded on their truck and were selling the programmer/tuner. It won't allow you to load a tune until they return their vehicle to the factory tune.

Any of the tuners on here offer great prices on the XCal2 or 3...whether it be Troyer, Justin or whoever.

You can also check out Power Hungry Performance with their Gryphon. They are also pushing out great tunes to people on here as well.

Check those three out and you'll be in good shape.

I’d feel comfortable buying a used Xcal2 or whatever from another member on the classified forum, but ebay is another thing

If you happen to have a "Heritage Edition" '04, we have a chip; otherwise, as Thumper pointed out, the '04s need a programmer.
