If you know how to write the tune, sure, but it'd be a WHOLE LOT more than just buying an actual programmer with tunes. Not to mention you probably don't know how to write the tune, don't feel bad I don't either, than it'd be a waste.

No better way to screw up the truck than by tuning it yourself. Think about this: do you know what you're doing? It can't be that hard, right? So what if you have no formal training? You'll figure it all out as you go along. After all, you've probably never had to read assembly instructions when you bought IKEA furniture. For those of you who don't live near IKEA, they sell furniture. For those of you who think that you can tune your truck without training or experience.....I don't know what to tell you. There is a reason why only a small handful of people in this world are in the custom tuning business, and their customer base is so big that customers have to get in line and wait for those tunes.

i wasn't trying to say i could tune it myself i was only asking wouldn't it make sense instead of buying a "tuner" to have software that works like a tuner that you could load and unload canned or custom tunes, just seems like alot of money for a tuner while i got this laptop sitting here.
