My Edge was made on 1/08 so I decided it was time to check for updates. So far nothing has borked on me yet, but I would like to know just exactly what the new firmware files fix over previous version. Is there a source for this?

 

I would also like to know what fixes they do. I recently done the update and now I have adjustments for Convertor lockup. I have NO idea how to adjust it tho with out screwing something up.

 

Well I have been messing with the timing on Level 3. I prefer how the truck acts with Level 3 active. But since I am cheap, I am running 87 octane. Now before you have a caniption fit on me, I have reduced the timing. I started at -1.5. That still seemed a little too high for me. My mileage went down with highway driving at about 14mpg.

So tonight, I adjusted it again. I dropped the timing to -2.50 and took it for a spin to the YMCA. Trucks runs a heck of a lot better. I may try to take it to the full -3.00 and see how it does like that.
