I have magnaflow SI-DO exhaust. I want to buy the Gryphan tuner but I need suggestions on which intake to pair it with. Any thoughts? I'm going to be ordering these mods today or in the morning. Oh yeah...I almost forgot. I have an 07 STX 4x4 with the 4.6

 

Depending on if you want a closed box or open box design. If you want something enclosed get the S&B. I'm almost positive they make one for your model. If you want something in an open box design than get the AF1.

 

Thumper is dead on. The two intakes of choice on this forum are the AF1 and the S&B.

I see that the AF1 says that the intake for my 07 4.6 is available in May. Well....it's May so why doesn't it give me the option to buy it?

I've always used the open air intakes on my mustangs. Have the enclosed intakes proven to be better? or are they pretty much the same performance wise?

that same thing happened to me in 04, I had to wait month after month until they finaly released it. They don't let it go until all the R&D is exact

 

Just called AF1 and they said the intake tubes just need to go to polishing and should be ready by the end of the month.

I will get the intake up our site to order in the next few days.
