EDGE= New Trans!!!

Two weeks ago I bought a EDGE tunner and on Sunday I was on my way to the lake and my trans just completly blew up!!! Kinda sucked 2 hours for a tow truck to get there. Thank god for warrenty's though cuz I got a new one for free! Even though I am on 37's. Has anyone had this happen to them? I just really hope the tunner didnt cause it...

did you regear for the 37's? if not I'd quit blaming anything but that for your problems EDIT: running 3.23 with 35s for a year it's def your fault since this is your tow vehicle. not trying to be mean but you're not gonna get much sypathy. a tuner can't fix that

Ha my tranny stopped working with the Edge...first gear wouldnt engage in Drive.

Sold the edge the following day and order Troyer Tunes.

12k miles later, havent had a single problem and custom tunes are 100x better than those edge tunes.

How do you know that the EDGE was to blame and not some of the other mods you have done to your truck? After all, you say this is your second transmission failure. What did you blame the first one on? I have run my EDGE on 2 different F150s without any problem whatsoever for over 25,000 miles.

Do you ever check the fluid and have it flushed?? 2 trans already in a 2005 model??? Something is fishy, how do you drive that thing? I have 50000+ miles on a factory reman, and a edge the whole time, and the last 6 months has had the shift firmness all the way up, all the time.
