Which one should I use?

I am going to buy the roush intake and off road exhaust system and am starting to notice that the edge has alot of issues. The evolution was my top choice but i am not sure now. Should I stay with the evo or go another route?

Scan through the first couple of pages. You'll find info on everthing. All you can do is make an educated guess. I've used both products, and loved both products. Both can do both. whoo hoo. Just get em tuned and you're fine. If you want the neato completo guages get and Evo. If you dont CARE about the guages, get the SCT. Check out Evolution Performance, as you can get an intake w/ a tune for it at a reasonable price. Used them on my Mustang GT and it was awesome.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, i had more issues with my SCT2, because i was dumb and tried to do a buncha tuning crap myself. Havn't touched the Edge, not an issue yet. Thats where most people have issues with the edge. Buy custom tunes, and LEAVE THEM ALONE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dont go sifting through to find the timing and advance it out then cry that the edge broke your truck. No, you're an IDIOT. sorry... im done.

I've had both Edge models for my truck and not a single problem. If you decide you want to go into the custom options on the EDGE, if you don't have a good knowledge of the automotive vehicle, read the manual before you go changing stuff. But Custom tunes is the way to go, Bill is the ONLY custom tuner for the Edge so he can "hook you up".

Bill is no longer doing any custom tuning for the Evolution because it may jeopardize Edge's CARB Cerfication. However, that being said, we are offering you the opportunity to trade in on your Evolution for our Gryphon™ programmer, which CAN be custom tuned. It's easier to explain over the phone, so please feel free to give us a call if you're interested.

Blessings,
Corey

1st off buy the roush off-road exhaust & save your money and upgrade to the af1 cai. I bought both items you are thinking about too. Don't get me wrong I love the sound of the roush cai on wot, but at cruising sppeds it drones bad!. I don't have the af1 yet but from everything on here that I have read it does not drone. The roush cai is made by airaid just in case you didn't know. Just do a search of airaid & you will find a lot of people have the droning noise along with many others that have the plastic tube. Also go with a custom tuned xcal3 thru whoever you choose!

If that's the re-tagged plastic tube Airaid CAI, look for a stainless one instead. Two trucks and my bro's truck all had a real annoying drone at 1800 rpm with that intake.
