I would get the Edge, and have Bill work out your driveability problems.

Bill seem's to be working magic with these Edge Evo's, but I would still like to see one on a dyno compared to say Troyer or VMP.

The smart money is on the XCal with custom tunes of your choice by whoever

Why would you even consider Edge? Just about every other thread is about Edge and the ongoing problems

Many of which are user error, there are problems with all of them, I have had both Edge models, installed many on others trucks and never had any problems to date, can't say the same about some SCT stuff I did.

I got an edge without doing any research. I slapped a CAI on and plugged in the edge for the first time on the same day. I created a HORRIBLE exhaust drone . I am currently working with Bill on the drone issue and he has made it 85% better in only one attempt . What I am getting at here is if your going to do any mods (namely a cai) I would go with the xcal. I wish I would have.
Don't know what the xcal cost but my new edge was 399.00
I really do like the dash pod that you get with the edge.
Ever consider getting a used tunner? Kinda wish I would have checked into that also...
