Scan Guage II

New to me, but got a couple questions.

1) It is reading 298 LB/FT, that falls inline with Fords claims for my 4.6. Since I think this reading is accurate will it show a difference my CAI and Tuner will make once installed?

2) My engine load sits at a pretty constant 60-70% when cruising. Seems a bit high for a motor cruising at freeway speeds with no load. Does this seems normal?

I have a 4.6 and seems normal. You have to remember we have the 4.6 and it's a little underpowered from the start in these heavy trucks. Great motor, but pushing these heavy trucks with a 4speed tranny, and esp 3.55 gears. or 3.73's She's working pretty hard even when it's not!

Not to mention if you have bigger tires than stock. More meat on the wheels, changes the rear end ratio as well.

I like my ScanGauge II. It's a really neat toy, and takes the place of all those aftermarket gauges that would otherwise clutter up your A-pillar. But just don't forget that it really doesn't do anything. It does not make your truck run better, go faster, tow more, or get better mileage.
