Off Roadin with Edge

K, Im pretty set on gettin the Edge Evo. But was wonderin if the bouncing and vibrations from offroadin wuld be bad for the module??? Also, what about the sun, since it sits up there on the dash? I know, I could jus get a sun visor right......

Thanks,
Roy

You shouldn't have any problems.....

If the truck is bouncing enough to break the edge, you'll be broken to

if you use the dash pod it stays pretty well out of the sun.

I wouldn't worry about the sun. I never had a problem with it flying off the dash other than maybe a handful of times. I never did "mount" it on the dash, it was just sitting there. Those handful of times were expectable though.

Keep in mind that if you plan on getting any custom tuning for your unit, you'll have to purchase the private labelled version of the "Evo" from Power Hungry. Edge has put the kibosh on custom tuning for "Evolution" branded units.

Take care.
