I have to say the Edge is probably the best "canned" tuner. However custom tuning via a Xcal2 is going to blow away any canned tuners. Just check out www.VMPTuning.com, they will write you a custom tune for the Xcal2. What kind of exhaust are you running, if any?

I can soon vouch for VMP Tuning.

I ordered an xcal-3 and custom tunes from VMP.

If you decide to go the custom route, tuning is available for the Evo as well.

In my opinion, Troyer Performance is the real deal. I’ve been using Mike’s custom tunes on my 04 since it was new. It’s been totally trouble free and the customer service is superb

Mover,

Tuning for those mods is fairly straightforward. Exhaust modifications historically lean the engine out, especially when done in conjunction with a CAI (you didn't say if you had one or not) so some moderate tweaks can do wonders to liven up the low to mid RPM power while still keeping the top end strong.

Take care.

Bill
