i just recieved my vmp tune and i put it on the gas milage tune and the check engine light came on. I dont think this is normal im just wondering if anyone has had similar problems?

 

Get the code out and see what it is....I can look it up if you can get it.

 

thanks but i retuned it, and it seems to have gone away, but i have another question. This is my first tune and it seem to me that the perf tune does not like to be driven lightly and at around 2rpm it sometimes bounces between 2nd and 3rd when accelerating slowly. On the other hand the mpg tune likes to be driven gently and when i get on it doesnt seem right. Im just curious to see if this is normal.

 

Seems like you need to beat on it for the first 5 drive cycles after loading a tune for the adaptive, then the trans appears to holds the gears a bit longer.

 

I'd shoot Justin an email and let him know what you're experiencing. I'm sure he'll be able to shed some light on the situation.
