Edge & Transmission

I have a little issue with my edge.
i have it set on level 2 and the only adjustments is my timing and it is set at
+1, when my cruise control is set and i go down a steep hill my RPM's drop and well below normal and it has a little jerk like it is wanting to have a hard engine break.

what would cause that or is it normal.

Just curious, why do you have your timing bumped? Are you running 89 or sea level? As to the jerk, it is probably the torque converter and that is somewhat normal.

Yea i am running 87 octane fuel here in nebraska. with the timing bumped up a little bit it runs a little smother during idle.
I have had it for a week now and i was looking at the options and i set the speed limiter to 125 instead of 100 and that is when i noticed it at first. Then i changed it back and id dosent to it as bad but it sill does it.

I dont see why the speed limiter would have anything to do with it.

Mine can be a bit quirky on my 07. For instance when I changed my standard shift points to +1 my truck acted really weird. I also can't mess with some of the other options. Its almost like my truck can only handle so many changes to the PCM at once.
