99 f150 custom setting

ive got a 99 with a 4.6 and a manual tranny...running 87 octane...and i recently switched to setting 1 and went to the custom tunes and i went to the standard shifting setting which in the book says for "auto tranny's" and i set it at -2 and drove about 5 miles @ 65 and got a pretty good vibration from it....it dropped my rpms from 2175 to around 2000.....i've recently switched it to -1 but havent driven it yet....so my question is.....should i just leave it at 0 since the book says its for automatics only? and is that more than likely y i was getting the vibrations?

What tuner are you running? Tuners only work ATs because they are electronically controlled. A tuner is still good for the engine side.
