edge evolution causing stall?

I have a 2004 F150 with edge evolution programmer, magna flow exhaust and Volant cold air intake. I recently updated my Evolution and now it is stalling when I come to a sudden stop. I am running level 2 program. I have not made any other tuning changes except for my tire size. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.................

Have you tried any other levels and checked to see if it will stall when you come to a sudden stop or set the truck back to stock?

return to stock and see if it goes away. if it does go away, up the idle on the edge or try to update it again.

I have tried going back to stock and it is stalling there also. Now about upping the idle, i have tried that but it does not seem to change the idle. are the numbers on the screen times 10 to get actual rpm? i set to 100 saved changes but i didn't any change in idle rpm. so my question is a 100 value in the programmer equal to 1000 rpm? thanks.

x 10 is what I remember but have never tried it, so 5=50rpms. sounds like you have a problem that needs to be fixed before you can start playing with the Edge

it's easy to blame the Edge, but the problem would have gone away when you returned it to stock. You could also drive it and let the PCM adjust to the new program, it might just need to learn.

Cannot confirm or deny but I will tell pass on something that I was told along the way. Open drivers door, start truck with door open and leave open. let truck idle for 45 seconds without closing door or touching the gas.

This allows TPS to zero itself.

Might help

TPS = Throttle position sensor

I can tell you it cured my truck throwing 6 codes when programming to a new level. All were related to TPS. I follow this procedure every time I reprogram and voila no codes.

Only reason I brought it up is because I thought maybe your TPS hadn't re calibrated or zeroed itself after programming.

It might be totally unrelated but it's free and easy to try.
