got my troyer tunes emailed today!!

Got my tunes from TP today via email. Tomorrow would have been exactly 8 weeks from when i sent my tunes in. i had some trouble getting them into the tuner because my pc is a pos and i am terrible with computers. after changing computers and getting my buddy who is a computer wiz to help me, i got the tunes loaded to the x3 in minutes. i was already running the canned 91 tune and noticed a big difference over stock with that. i loaded up the performance 91 tune from TP and went for a ride. WOW WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!! tranny shifted fast and hard at wot yet smooth at light throttle. even more power then the canned 91 tune. i was throwing the back of my truck around as i went around each turn and i have a 4.6L in a screw. current mods are x3, k&n intake and magnaflow catback si/so. hoping to do efans soon from TP, already have their UD pullies, just havent installed them. next mod is a lift and tires

I am not mad, just getting impatient. Guys have been getting their tunes several weeks earlier...and you got yours at eight weeks. Today was eight weeks for me, so I had to call. I was told another 5-7 business days. I like what the canned has done, but am very curious to experience the custom tunes...Oh well.

Uploading the canned tune was easy. Just wondering what downloading from an email, and then uploading to my truck is going to be like.

Did Troyer send you instructions on how to get the custom tune into the programmer? Ther SCT site is terrible, I can't even find where to get the owners manual ?

they sent me enough instructions to make my head spin. the problem was my laptop is so old it wouldnt recognize the x3 when i plugged it in so i couldnt install the drivers. my buddy did loaded the tunes on the x3 in minutes

today will be the first real world test of the tunes. last night it was about 11pm when i got everything working and went for a short blast around the neighborhood. im leaving for work in about 30min so ill get to see how it does in traffic and passing people, etc.

its not bad, it took me about 10 minutes longer to get it off the computer, but you will be so excited, it seems like it takes forever.

Nov 14th and counting.........

I hope Mike gets to my spot in the list soon. The 3.5" Air Force One paperweight needs something to do!

I sent my work sheets in Nov 15th.
Its 2 months or 9 weeks now and i had to call also. They told me next week also. They said middle to end of next week. That will put it over 10 weeks.

Hey luckythirteen13. When did you send your sheets in?
