Starting Week 6

waiting for Troyer custom tunes. Does anyone know what the wait time is currently running? I knew going in that there was a wait period, but I am getting anxious.

I am at a little over 5 weeks. I don't know what the wait time is, but I think it is still holding steady at around 8 weeks.

Patience young Jedi.

Sending an e-mail will not move you to the head of the line.

Rest assured that all work is done in the order received.....I hope! I don't really know. I don't work there. Just think though: if the staff there was like a lot of us, your pestering them with e-mails & phone calls will probably only **** them off and bump you back further in their work order queue.

The only way to move ahead in line is if you actually pay them a visit in person. I just don't know why I don't do that since I am only 3 hours away! Anyway, don't worry ya'll I won't do that!

As much as Troyer would love to get their tunes out quicker. I understand that things come up and sometimes delays their turnaround time. Just keep in mind, they are busy because people want their tunes and expertise! Good things are worth waiting for (says the man that's pulling his hair waiting for his tunes )

when you guys say your waiting for custom tunes, what kind are you waiting for. i wanted to order the x3 with custom tunes. does that not come with them on it already. or does it mean it has the sct tunes and then troyer will send you the custom ones. idk??

It means exactly what you said in your last sentence. You can indeed get a X3 from Troyer with "canned" tunes, but then Troyer will usually end up emailing you your custom tunes specifically tuned to your truck. That really is the only way to go if you have modded your truck with a CAI, exhaust, etc...

I sent mine in on the 15th, so that would put me at about week 7! What date did you guys send them in on?

Right there with you.....Nov 14th. The wait is killing me as ive got an expensive 3.5" air force 1 paperweight until the customs arrive.

Canned SCT tunes are crap. 87 octane pinged so bad I could not run it and the trans shifted so hard it felt like the trans would break! By the time I backed out enough timing to stop the ping and lowered the line pressure to save the trans it was like "Whats the point" so back to stock I went.

Everyone stop calling Mike, he's got tunes to do!

Mine took almost exactly 8 weeks to the day.

Crystal told me 6 to 8 weeks, and 8 weeks it was.

I can guarantee all of y'all that it's well worth the wait!!

Just be patient, savor the anticipation.

The worst part to be honest was hooking the thing up to the port and waiting for the tune to load the first time.. LOL... took like 8 minutes.. all the time worrying about, "I hope the truck'll start after doing this..."

No worries, just be patient and then load a tune, then grin 'til your face hurts!!
