Does Troyer recommend 3 tunes to have loaded?

What is the common tunes to have loaded. I want to get a X3, but can't decide on the tunes. From reading other post it seems to be 50/50 from 87 through 93 tunes. I think I am looking into.

87 Performance
87 Economy
93 Performance

OK, I think I have it narrowed down...

OK, I think I have it narrowed down...

87 Performance
93 Tow
93 Performance

I feel this is the best set-up from reading all the advice from everyone. 93performance and 93 tow so I can tow while running 93 octane. 87 performance and the use of stock setting for towing when I am stuck with 87 Octane for the occasional visit to the dealership...

Questions,,,

What is the difference from 93 performance and 93 economy? Is there much MPG savings between the two?

Thanks for all the help...

masonm75,
I just ordered my XC3 on Wednesday and spent about 45mins w/Crystal on the phone at T.Performane asking many questions (some I'm sure redundant) as I wanted to be sure that for the price that I was paying (while prob a steal in the end for the improvements you'll see in your truck) I was getting exactally what I wanted.

Now as for as ANY octane 87, 92, 93, 94, or whatever, she made it explicitly clear to me (I was def wearing my dunce cap during this convo) that she felt that since T. Performance CAN NOT guarantee a mpg savings w/the economy tune (yet you will still most likely get some, they just can't guarantee it...there are too many variables on how & where a person drives for them to make a 100% definitive guaranteed statement) that why not just get the performance tune where of course you get the performance benefits improvements in your truck BUT she also said that in their dyno testing they are pretty much seeing the same mpg savings on the Perf. tunes that they are on the Economy tunes.

So with that being the case, she suggested (& it made sense to me...so then why exactly are they still promoting an Economy Tune??...) why go w/the Economy tune (at any octane level) where I may (but probably still) will see some mpgs savings when I could go w/the Performance tune (at any octane level) and certainly see my performance benefits increase as well as get the benefits of the Economy tune where I may (and probably still) will see just the same amount of mpgs savings as I would on the Eco Tune.

So I went with the;
87 Tow
87 Perf
94 Perf (we still got 94 here in Ohio)

Sorry, for the long-winded response, but hopefully that answers your question.
