Give the folks at Troyer a call and talk to them, it's worth the time. Also what you need depends on what you want. If you guages to monitor diffferent settings such as trans temp then you could go with the Livewire. If you don't have to have guages then you could go with Xcal II or III. Also don't go into getting a tuner because you think you're going to see some great increase in fuel efficiency because you'll be disappointed. You may see 1-2 mpg gains, but that's about it. Get a tuner because you want the increased HP, throttle response and performance and you definitely won't be disappointed.

You would probably see more of an increase in MPG, but its so much more fun to drive you cant keep your foot off the floor

What they said, x2..

I've been running Troyer's tunes via Xcal 2 since October on my '05 4.6L Screw and I couldn't be happier. The mileage is about the same as before the tunes, but there's no denying the increase in performance. There's a world of difference in the shifting, it's just perfect now.

I've never had it on a dyno but if I was to guess, and I will.. lol.. it FEELS like easily 40 or so more hp with the performance tunes.

The best thing about his tunes, IMO, is that the performance is there across the entire band, not just at WOT..

Best thing I ever did for my F150, I'd highly recommend Troyer's tunes.. The wait time is worth it, I promise..

Hey, my dog of a Screw actually JUMPS off the line from a stop now.. and that's sayin' something!!
