Alright, I have a 2008 FX4 and I want to get the edge tuner for it, but I want to know if I have to take the truck to the dealers for any reason, is there away to find out that I had it on the truck? I plan to remove the tuner before I have to take it in but I still want to know if their is any way to find out that it was there. I don't want to void my warranty on the truck...please let me know.

I think its proven that there no way of them knowing. Just be sure to put it back to the stock tune becasue some places re-flash the PCM everytime(or so I have heard).

I have a 07' and was in the same boat. I have an intake and exhaust and am waiting on a troyer custom tune. The place I bought my truck doesnt like the idea of a tune or an intake but they dont minde the exhaust. I called around and found a dealer that is seems really cool and they dont mind a tuner, infact theres a guy on this forum that goes there and he said that they tried to sell them a Edge! Its a farther drive but they seem like their great people. I cant wait to go there and actualy talk to them face to face.

 

Won't affect your warranty. Just upload the stock tune before you take it there.
