Reprograming ECU

My friend had his originial computer from his truck shipped off and reprogramed for his chevy truck is there any one that can do that for a ford truck much less the 4.2l engines or would it be better just to by the programmer and do it yourself?

Your local parts store like Carquest or NAPA can take care of it. If you are not having any problems not much will change. Look into a tuner for more HP.

I would look into getting a custom tuner...such as the Xcal2...You get 3 custom tunes and you can return to stock If you want, and you can also scan for check engine light codes, and clear them, calibrate tire size, change shift points and firmness...they are a great source of performance for the $$$ Contact troyer performance for more info! It is easy to reflash your computer and only takes a few minutes, and you can change it whenever you want unlike your friends chevy.
