Razing Speed Limiter on ROUSH Supercharged
Razing Speed Limiter on ROUSH Supercharged
I didnt want to post a similar thing twice but I have posted a similar thread in the Supercharger fourm.
CAN ANY PROGRAMER HELP?
I have a 2007 F150 Supercrew 5.4, just been Roush Supercharged.
Problem is the speed limiter comes in at 96 MPH, just as you get going!
I have spoken to ROUSH here and they say FORD wont let them change the speed limiter something to do with the powertrain?
Can anyone say what happens over 96MPH?
Also I really want to move the speed limiter up to say 115MPH, has anyone done this, if so what happens over 96MPH, have you done many high speed miles in the truck?
Really looking forward to see what people have done to rectify this problem!
Anyone.....

Get a tuner of you choice I got a XCal II and a two PSI boost increase by Mike Troyer of Troyer Performance their is no speed limiter now I have been up to 120 mph Mike said my truck should be able to do 156 MPH or so with the power level i have but he also said the drive shafts can fall out at any thing above 100 MPH a balancing problem from ford so it a craps shoot rather or not you have a good one or not so if you fell any kind of vibration at high speeds you properly need a new drive shaft
