I bought an Edge today for my '04 5.4. I was wondering if I go into a custom tune and all I change is the tire size will I still get the Edge tune or will it be stock with adjusted tire height? It didn't come with a manual and I couldn't find anything on here.

 

Go to Edge's site and print out a manual. It will be Edge's standard program for that level, not Ford's stock program. Also, you need to make sure the default gear ratio is really what you have. When ever I go to customize, it defaults to 3.73 gears and I have 3.55s, so I change it every time.

 

One other thing, after you program it, your display will tell you what level you are running. Your stock program will be "0".

I highly encourage you to read the manual, and follow it explicitly.
