What kind of tuner?

I'm contimplating tuners. I need to adjust for tire size and I need more power/mpg. I can get an edge used but I've heard bad things about them. I don't want a custom tune. Give me your opinions please.

Hi.

There will be a few folks here who will think I lost it, lol, but get the Edge if the price is right. With the proper updates, and Bill to help with any other issues, you should be good to go. Since Bill's involvement, things have improved a lot in terms of reliability.

Another alternative is an SCT 9415SF - comes with SCT canned tunes. As a bonus, you can convert it to hold custom if you ever change your mind.

And the new arrival is the Xcal3 - canned now, and can go custom later if you wish.

Then there is LiveWire - canned now / custom later, again your choice.

Good luck!
