Just Pulled the Trigger

After much, much reading, I finally did it. Just ordered up some custom tuning and an AF1 from Troyer. They were as good as advertised, answered all of my questions and then some. I am faxing my sheets off today, and the wait begins. Neil said it would be 8-10 weeks, so I am going to try to forget all about it for a while, at least until the intake gets here.

I need to call and get new tunes for my 07 crew. I had Mike's tunes on my 04 and it was the best mod for that truck. I will probably get the AF1 3.5" too. If I order soon I should get them before Christmas.

if you buy a troyer tuner what would you have to send to them?? If you don't have anything except a susp lift would it make a difference or what?

First you have to call them and place an order. They then send you custom worksheets that you have to fill out and email or fax back to them. The worksheets go into great detail on any mods and how you have maintained your truck. The suspension lift doesn't matter just what size and brand tires you are running.

You will notice a dif with the tunes plus your speedo will be accurate but i still think you should just do gears first for more power.

No, most likely you'll be raving about it for a while like the rest of us.

mnponds, just wait until you talk to Mike T. I felt like I was back in college listening to a professor during a good lecture........have pencil and paper handy!
