I believe the one you're looking at from JDM comes only with "canned" tunes, meaning just generic "any F150" tunes..

If you need instant gratification as far as canned tunes then you should look into the Edge Evo.. canned tunes plus a very nice display of gauges / readouts.

If you want the best freakin' thing you've ever done for your truck then order the Xcal 2 from Troyer.. He writes 3 tunes specifically for your truck, no other... I just installed the thing yesterday and it's pretty much a new truck to me!!..

There's a wait time involved, you won't get it next week, but IMO it's very much worth the wait... also it's about $50 more than the one with canned tunes you're looking at, but the custom tunes are included in that price.. there's also a discount for being a member of this site..

If you're serious about the Xcal 2 you really should give Troyer a call.. their phone number is there on their site... you sure won't regret it!!

Thanks for the info.

I went to JDM yesterday and spoke with their tech and their tunes are custom to your application.

I have to tell you they have a great setup and work on customizing the F150's to what the customers want.
