He doesnt own this site. He does a great job tuning our trucks. Id say 99% of the people here who got there truck tuned by him have been very happy with there tune.

My VMP's tunes were the best mod I've done. Na Na Nerrr. Just kidding.
Sorry fellas but I've got both VMP and Troyer tunes and gears are still the best mod I've done.

I can't argue that gears help a ton.

You need to read more, then

Remember - there are many customers who never post here ... but someone's buyng up all the hundreds of custom tuned Roush installs and straight-up custom tuning alone, that is keeping MT so busy that he has little time to post here ....

That number is in fact pretty much accurate.

Hi MHS,

Thanks for your post.

Just FYI, nobody here is a "rep" for us - well, other than me, I suppose.

People rave about us not because they get paid or get any type of special consideration whatsoever - they rave about us because we are simply the best at what we do. We have specialized in these vehicles for right at 16 years now, far longer than anyone else in the world - literally. In fact, there really is nobody else that truly specializes in the performance of these trucks like we do, it's what we do, we own, live, eat, sleep & breathe them.

All kidding aside, F-150 performance is indeed what we do, and that is why you see so many people talking about us.

You will, by the way, also see the same few people consistently bash us every chance they get - there are also a few people who do not like us because I have refused to do certain things to their vehicles, and it's virtually always either because they refuse to provide the data required to do what they want, or they insist on doing stupid things that are detrimental to the vehicle. and because we are the kind of company that will turn down business instead of doing something we do not agree with, some people don't' like us - but most people thank us for that, as we treat vehicle owners as if we owned their vehicles - I think that's the way to do business.

At any rate, I would suggest giving us a call at our number listed below to see what we can do for your vehicle, what we recommend for whatever it is you are using your vehicle for and what you are looking for in general, as we provide a very thorough consultation right up front, without any hard-core sales pith, etc. We simply want you to be happy.

I hope that clarifies things a bit for you, and again, thanks for your post - I hope you will enjoy it here & hang out with us here on F-150 Online!

Nice post Mike.

One question though: Why the long wait for tuners?

Cool.

One last question Mike: The email link in your sig.... does that go straight to you or one of your employees?

I ask because I want to email you directly and want to make sure it's you I'll be communicating with.

Cheers.

First - several 'unnecessary' and 'implied derogatory' posts have been deleted.

Is this true, or are half the members here advertising reps?

f150online.com, up until a few months ago, was owned by Ownersite Technologies (Steve - the webmaster - is the owner of Ownersite). Steve divested the site and it's now owned by Internet Brands which is a company who has invested in multiples of message-board types of sites - like ours.

While you'll note that Mike Troyer is a Supporting Vendor, this does not mean that he's the owner of the site. What it means is that he has 1) been around for years and years here and 2) has been given the permission of the sites' ownership to advertise his products and services here on the site.

In short, the raves that you'll see here at f150online by members - and on oodles of other F-Series sites - are just that; raves. They are true opinions that are unadulterated and certainly not edited for his sales.

While there are oodles of folks out there that sell tuners, the bottom line is that Mike has specialized in these trucks for a long time and certainly knows them inside and out.

The long and short of it -- the raves that you read are earned; not bought.

Troyer is a good tuner but there are plenty of other good tuners out there. VMP and Bama/Junses are also very good tuners. I have VMP Tuning's tune and I couldn't be happier with them. If you have any questions, feel free to email me.
