great customer service...

at troyer!!! i got my tunes the other day and everything was great. there was only one small problem. a while back i changed my tunes from 91 tow to 93 perf. and also made some other changes to the truck, moved and all kinds of stuff. this led to a little confusion. when i got my tunes i had a 93 tow instead of 93 perf. i called talked to crystal and everything is good. they are going to send my 93 perf. tune, which i should have a day or two, and it isnt going to cost me anything. i did have email confermation of the changes made and everything.

just wanted to post this because of all the upset customers here lately. not to belittle your experience, just to let future potential customers that they have treated me very well, and troyer perf. has my top reccomendation!

i love 'em! i didn't want to get my hopes up too much originally, but now that i have tried 'em out, i was blown away. they really do make the truck fun to drive.

my personal experience: great service, great product, great end result.

to tell you the truth, i am actually looking forward to you getting your tunes now. you are gonna be amazed.

yes. when you order, they will send you some work sheets that you need to fill out and they will write a specific tune for your truck with your mods.

i can only speak from personal experience, but my tunes were perfect. as far as the wait, as long as you expect 8-10 weeks you should be ok. just be patient. i think it is well worth the wait

Yea, these tunes are sick. I was trying to be conservative when I got them but the fact is the AF1/TP combo has made my truck so far from what is was I would probably sell it if I had to go back. The transmission is absolutely perfect and power comes on right away with no flat spots as it builds all the way to redline. No more turning a corner and giving a little throttle just to wait or getting a huge downshift to do a somewhat fast get on the highway, the power is right there and it feels effortless. This set up has made my truck more driveable than ever and very satisfying when doing so.

As far as customer service, mine was perfect as well. They answered every time I called and kept me up to date with email or phone calls periodically through the process. Mike Troyer spent a total of about two hours on the phone with me over three phone calls and all I did was buy three tunes from them. The wait imo is irrelavent, it's a little exciting but it's not going to affect your daily life for two or three months, we're talking tunes here not breathing. Once you have them you'll be very happy if it feels anything like what they did for my truck and obviously many others. I really thought I would have to supercharge this pig to ever be satisfied but that would have been overkill for my purposes and really not the way I wanted to go.

One thing I was worried about was the AF1 with it being more open then many. Well this week has put that to bed for me. The last few days have still been sort of hot and humid here in SFla and I've been idling and making short trips around some sloppy job sites. Perfect for noticing a loss of power or poor idling due to hot air or something affecting the engine. Not happening. I noticed absolutely nothing, not to mention not a drop of water or mud anywhere near the intake area. I sort of figured the mud thing was a non issue as I never had anything like that getting in that intake area during the last 10+ years driving F150's but I'm also not one to drive through 3 feet deep mud holes.

How much do the troyer tunes run? How many tunes do you get with a standard purchase? Does it cost money to update them, say if you swap your ring and pinion or get bigger tires? And lastly where can you get them from?
