hello i need some help... does anyone know if the comp changed in the 4 years seperating the two trucks.. im thinkging about getting a programer from a friend and he has a 2004 f150... let me know if it would work.. thank you!!

there is a PCM code on the passenger door well near the hinges, if they dont match it wont work.

B.c even on trucks of the same year if they dont have matching PCM codes the xcal wont work on it.

 

Unless your friend has a Heritage F-150 (same body style as your 2000), then no it won't work.
