Why won't it gear down???

I recently installed a superchips 1715 max on my 03 5.4 F150 and I have a problem with the gearing. As I am cruising at about 70 on the highway and I decide to pass somebody and use WOT, my truck only gears down one gear going from about 1900rpm to only 3000rpm. I know that my truck could at least go down two gears. I have tried turning the OD off and using WOT in the same scenario but all that it does is hold the gear that it is in and not downshift to the next. I'm using the performance setting right now. Would someone please tell me what to do to my shift points or anything else that is wrong. Any information or help on this topic is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I just want it to be like it was before i installed the tuner. It "used to" gear down 2 gears if I used WOT at 70mph

I don't think your truck was ever truly in 2nd gear. It could of possibly felt that way due to the torque convertor. .

LISTEN TO MGD!!!!!
Also i looked at the links he posted for you and the person who responded to those threads was Mike Troyer. He is the one who custom tunes a good portion of our trucks including mine. You will not get any better info than what Troyer posted for tweaking that tuner!!Adjust the damn thing to the info you have already been given instead of starting a new thread
