Need perf advice on 06 KR with 6.0

I usually am the one giving advice on the Lightning forum, but my nephew just got his 06 KR diesel and I'm asking for some good advice on a programmer and quality air intake. I did some web surfing and the Edge evolution caught my eye as did the airaid intake kit. Any advice??Also where the best place to buy these are? He's young and looking to save a few bucks. Their shop is about 10 miles from my house and it is amazing. 3 of my buddys have gotten their tunes from there. I think you get 7 tunes and they range from +30HP to +300HP. God i wish I had a diesel!

 

one of my buddies has an 06 with 6.0 and he has the airraid(i believe) with the banks 6 gun chip and MBRP 4" or 5" exhaust(cant remember that either) on his truck and WOW! it will roast em thru 3rd gear on level 6. hes also getting like 22 mpg with it on level 4 and just reg driving. and a different friend has the same intake with dual exhaust and the edge juiced chip, and man! on level 5 that thing rocks too!(his truck is lifted with new gears and 38's tho, so its hard to tell vs the other one) its hard to steer ya in a good direction!

 

Diesel Builder Magazine had a Diesel Tuner Shootout in thier June 06 issue. They tested Hypertech, Superchips, and Edge against each other on a Power Stroke, a Duramax, and a Cummins. Here's the link to the article.
