Help Fast

SO i took my edge and put it in an 03 expy today and ))@*%. It wont crank or even turn over and now i cant return it back to stock cuase the edge wont enitalalize. I was told tehy were all compatible with expys and f150's 97-03.

The box says that its good from 97-03 tritons. Is it not compatible with them.

IS there a way to return it back to stock?

Am i **** out of luck other than the dealer???

here's a question:
did you take the program out of your truck before you tried to hook it up to the expy?

It says on Edge's Website that it is also compatible with the Expedition, Navigator, and Excursion....so you should be fine in that dept.

And your saying that you can't get the Expedition to crank after you tried to program it? not your truck right?

If not the battery check the fuse for the OBDII port just to be safe.

if it still won't start, sounds like you may have somehow erased the program?

Hey.

This sound about right ...?

They will have to send him a "recovery tune" to get his ECM responding again...then resend him a factory tune to load...then resend him the custom tunes.
The OP that started that recent 'no-crank' thread to which Ram responded never did post a follow-up, so I don't know whether his was resolved in this manner or not, or was someting else like the battery ...

[It's unfortunate when folks post a problem, get help and then don't post up any feedback. This helps no one down the road.]

Working with Edge is your best bet ...

Good luck!

So heres the update....

I talked to edge and tehy took my evo and made me conect it to teh computer. From there they loaded a program into the evo that i could try and load into the expy. With them on the phone i went down and loaded it into the expy and ..... it started!!!!!

From there i hooked it back up to my computer and they returned my evo back to "out of the box" stock so that i could return it back to my truck. All in all everything is back to normal and it didn't cost me a thing. Just some time on teh phone with support. Every time i call them they are awsome once you get a hold of them. I have been on hold for over 45 min once.

Just thought i would leave an update for those who search and find this in the future.

Twintips - Glad to hear you got your problem solved. Just out of curiouslity, did you ever install the body lift on your F150 yet? We were going back and forth about concerns and I was just curious if you ever got around to it?
