Ok, this is my problem. I just got a new truck, and I pulled my EDGE out of the old one without resetting it to the stock tune. So now when I plug the EDGE into my new truck it still says it's on the Level 2 tune.

I would think that the stock program is different on my old '04 and my new '07 are different, so I want to make sure that I am not going to screw anything up.

Is there anyway to reset the EDGE back to original settings?

 

You have a real problem and so does whomever has your old truck. It must be returned to stock before you pull it out. You old truck is stuck with an Edge tune that will require reprogramming by a dealer at some point, and you have an Edge you can't use. There is no way to recognize your Hex code. You may be able to call Edge and get them to reprogram your unit. Or, you can go back to the old truck and return it to stock, if it has not been reprogrammed already.

 

Well - yes there is. But as BJ said, you need access to the original truck.
