superchips or xcal 2??

i have an 02 f150 4.6. it has flowmaster dual exhaust. i also have the superchips on it now, and eventually cai. i saw in the classifieds, a xcal 2 tuner from an 02 f150 4.6. will this work better than my superchips (better performance/mpg). also will i need to have it reflashed for my truck specifically or will it work since it was for an 02 4.6 anyways? the settings on it are 89 performance 93 performance and 89 tow. any suggestions would be great thanks!

I think you'd need to call Troyer to find out.. unless the previous owner had the same PCM and the same mods it would need some fresh programming..

Might be worth buying tho, I'm not sure what Troyer charges for new tunes alone (since you'd already have the Xcal), but definetly worth looking into..

I think all the seller has to do is return his tuner to the factory stock mode. then it will be good to go on your vehicle.
