Santa's workshop - in August -Oops, now September lol!

Hi folks;

Just wanted to let everyone know that Mike Troyer is well, but extremely busy knocking out tunes for y'all, as well as addressing several project trucks.

He should be along presently. So have your questions ready

Bubba

Tex... Actually the truck had been there that long, but finally was finished and picked up friday. It WAS NOT Mikes fault that he had it that long, believe me.

Tex... Delivered truck, found out original motor was bad. We decided to have one built by VT Engines, and happened to order at racing season putting motor build behind almost 3 months. First motor had a problem in the heads due to a casting flaw. Mike insisted on new heads and block just to be sure there would be no further problems with motor. Second motor was finally delivered, and installed in truck. Mike did all motor break in procedures so far. I have to change oil at 500 and at 1000 miles, and then I can give her hell. Unfortunately, my tranny and rear won't take any drag style take offs, so everything is from a running start. FOR NOW

The way it's set up right now, we should see around 350 to 400 horses at the rear wheels depending on how hot it is. The P1sc will just barely give us under 12 pounds of boost, because of the ported heads. Right now, that will be enough not to destroy my 5 speed tranny or 8.8 rear. Also, I am losing power from the flywheel because the truck is a 4x4. BTW, I have cut her loose in first gear a few times, and I was shocked at power it had in the lower rpm's since I am running the stock 355 gears.
