Will I have to get another Battery?
Will I have to get another Battery after MY tuner screwup?
I have an 05' SuperCrew and I have the Troyer Tuned XCal2 also. I got my truck from the Ford service shop yesterday afternoon for front end alignment, tire balance, etc.
I take my tunes off the truck when I take it to the shop. I get home and proceed to put the 87 tune back on the truck when I forgot I had to do something else in the house. I started the process and was gonna come back out and unplug it in about 10 minutes. That was at 7PM yesterday afternoon. I remember to unplug it at 6AM this morning.
Not one of my better moments. TOTALLY friggin' forgot about the tuner. My truck battery is now DEAD. This battery is about a year old because Ford installed another one last summer when it got so hot out and I didn't drive the truck for over a week that it drained the battery.
My big question is: Will I have to get another battery or can I just jump it off?
I didn't have time to do anything with it this morning so I caught a ride with my brother to work. What do I need to do other than go and get a brand new battery?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
And yes, I know I'm a STUPIDHEAD.

Do you have a battery charger available?
You may just not have enough juice to start or run anything but might not have killed the battery since it is not that old. I would try to charge it before getting a new one.
