Another satisfied customer who only confirms the fact that the wait is well worth it.

Definately worth the wait, Mike did my 04 F150, he recently tuned my 07 Mustang Gt, big difference in the performance.

Emailed sheets mid June, so 2 months. You won't believe the difference. I'm still smiling from ear to ear.

Faxing mine tomorrow, Aug. 20th, so they'll get 'em Aug. 21st.

Hoping to get the tunes by 2nd week of Oct., on vacation that week, I'd love to burn a tank or two of gas playing around..

Thinking of buying a edge but im intrigued by the posts for the Troyer Ecal. Can anybody please tell me what this is? Is it a unit like the edge evo that mounts on the dash or is it a chip that you get?
Could somebody give me a link to what you get so i can see it?

Thanks.

Hi.

Not a chip - a flash tuner ( you can't use a chip in an 04+ F150).

alright, i cant take it anymore. thats it, im diving in. im gonna call troyer next week.

the edge makes me feel like my truck is falling apart with all the droning and different sounds throughout the throttle and on the highway. i drove back 6 hours from the ranch a couple days ago with the bed fully loaded with firewood, and my god the droning and resonating was rediculous i had a huge headache. before i put the edge in, i couldnt even tell i had flowmasters when i was cruising highway, it was nice and quiet.

i also just had to replace my transmission not under warranty and i do not want to have to go through that again. i just dont trust the canned tuner.

ill keep the edge during my wait and then sell it once the xcal is here. hopefully after i sell the edge i will not have lost any money.

It's a flash programmer, here's a link to Troyer Performance..

http://www.troyerperformance.com/cgi...catalogno=9400

I just ordered this last week, sending back my worksheets tomorrow. Apparently fax machines are a miracle of the 21st century!

Me no cutting edge caveman..

You have to see the worksheets that Troyer asks you to complete to appreciate that it's tuned for YOUR vehicle.

From what I've read here and other places, Edge is a nice product. But it's a "generic" tuner. You can have one tomorrow, might be the best thing you've ever done. There do seem to be a lot of posts about needing to be on the phone with Edge's customer service.

Just bear in mind that it will probably take 8 weeks or so to receive custom tunes from TP.

I can wait.

Cain't hardly wait!!

The Xcal 2 is the same price as the Edge evo!!! The other link to Livewire Tuning. Datalogging & Display Device for 1996 & newer FoMoCo vehicles, CUSTOM TUNED!
Is a little more expensive. Which one does everybody go for and does anybody have a pic of theres in the truck? Also does it give you all the readings like the edge.

Thanks guys.
