superchips not made anymore

Hi everyone! I am a first time user and have found this forum very useful. So here is my problem. I have a 2001 f150 4.2l v6. I just purchased a superchip model 1100 for my truck. I installed it correctly and it did not start. There was a piece of paper in the box that said that if it did not start a few jumpers would have to be soldered to make it work and to call the company and get an RA number to return it. So I called and the guy at the superchip company said that they do not make a chip for my truck. So my question now is now what? The guy also said they stopped making chips for this particular truck model and that they no longer make anything for it. What can I do now? Any ideas?

Have a local shop do a dyno tune on it.

While that would certainly be an option, I think the OP would prefer to keep the existing hardware.

If that's not possible/feasible/cost-effective, then get TP to provide a custom-tuned Xcal2. Use the local dyno facility to datalog - since they will most likley not provide the same results as TP, IMHO.

OP - give 'em a call and discuss your options - you'll be glad you did.

Good luck, fslopez2.
