Hey all. I just got the Xcal by ups today and was wondering about the "read strategy". If I'm understanding this correctly, I plug it in, navigate to the read strategy, and record the seven numbers read on the screen?? I'm probably making it seem harder than it is but any help would help. I'm just wanting to call Crystal first thing in the morning to get things going. Thanks..

Hey Yeah, Scroll down to Vehicle Info and you'll find the Dtc check there, then just write the number down and send it to troyer. I had to do this just 2 days ago. My chip didn't work. let me know !!

 

got my xcal II yesterday and that is how it's done

the entire process is quick and easy as was installing the tune so now I just have to get out and drive the beast
