The two most discused tuners on this site are the Xcal2 and the edge evo. Both have ups and downs.

THe edge is a canned tuner and will see gains but not as much as the Xcal2. Wil lyo ube able to notice it driving? I dont think by much. The edge also comes with guages that mount on your dash.

The edge you can have at your door step in a day if you spend some time looking.

The Xcal2 is going to be a bit better if you are planning on doing anything major to the eninge. IE heads, cams, or anything else big.

THe edge will not work with these upgrades.

Last and probally the biggest problem is that the Xcal2 has about an 8 week wait becuase they are costum tunes. And last i heard TP was not taking applications for one.

I have an edge and i love it. I havn't heard anything bad about the programing from anyone on here. It is solid and will render gains.

I agree. I have the 5spd 4.6 and i wouldn't give up my stick for any auto any day. I can lay them flat for 40-50 feet.

I would have a lot of people there. YOu dont need lots of power and big tires to do most offroading. Its all about how you approach it. Smarts is the key there. I have had trucks places people couldn't imagine them being. I grew up in MOntana and learning how to drive offroad was just one of the famly trades.

Did you end up getting those rotors?

I was taking a look at mine today and was curios. 8 months and still no rust at all. LOL

Cops and little towns dont mix. You get cuaght for every little thing. BUT the punishment is usually smaller than big city crime LOL

I can niether confirm nor deny about getting off a lot in a little town.
