Just ordered Edge Evo for my 4.6l

Just waiting on the edge evo to come in the mail. I have been wanting to get one for awhile now and finally found a good deal and the proper funds. I have a 01' 4x4 screw with a 4.6 and i am hopinh to gain a lil more power in the truck. Anyone else with a 4.6 and edge wanna comment on the difference the edge made in general performance wise?

I have a 4.6 and it made a night and day differance. I have a 5spd and before i would get on it inbetween shifts it would stall the engine out cuase the 4.6 didn't have enough power to keep going but now it takes them like a champ. Love it. Did you get on for more power or better milage?

well to be honest, i got it for both, to increase power and mileage. I live in Tallahassee which is nothing but steep hills, and i can feel the strain on the truck when going uphill and i dont like to whomp on it just to get up the hill. Hopefully this will give her lil more of a boost.

I live in montana and it seems like the hills never end. Before i bouaght the edge i was running 3.55 gears and 265-75/16's and my trucks wouldn't pull a hill in 5th. I then increased my tire size to 33's and it got worse. WIth the edge i am able to pull the same hills in 5th and keep going. My cruise kicks off after i drop 11mph below where i set it(since its a manuel and cant shift on its own). My cruise never kicks off anymore.

The only down side is that its canned and cant adjust for major engine changes.

Do you have any of these in mind. Anything out side of exhast and intake?

I've got the 5.4, however this is the way the truck should have come from FORD. The Edge Evo takes all the throttle lag out and improves the fuel mileage.

I like it.
