I have ran my truck in all levels without any problems. I usually keep it in level 3, but a couple of times when I've taken my truck on longer trips (250+ miles) it seems to sputter sometimes. Not all of the time, but occasionally when the trip is over and I'm driving around town. It also runs really ruff. If I just turn the truck off and then back on, the problem is gone. Or if I just give it a little WOT it goes away and runs normal. Like I said, this doesn't happen all the time, but notice it more after a long trip. It may do it once or twice and then no problems for weeks or months. I've noticed this also the first time I switch it back to level 3, from level 2. Anyone else experience this?

 

Mine does this occassionally. I thought it was just the transmission acting up. Sometimes under no unusual circumstances the truck will just start shaking. I'll give it more gas and it can either go away or make it worse. If it does I just let off completely and coast for a few seconds and it either goes away or still there. I occassionally rid of this by giving it more gas as well but that is the same result. It either happens or it doesn't. I would say this happens every couple of weeks for or so for a few seconds. Weird.

 

same here. i have the same problem, but if i give it more gas it gets worse, like its dropping 4 cyl. i usually drop it down to 2nd gear then back into drive and it goes away. it seems to be happening every other day now. i've de-tuned it and ran it with the stock settings and it runs fine, just no power. as soon as i stick the level 3 on it it starts sputtering again. anyone heard of a fix yet?

 

cause you all got a generic canned tune. spend the extra few bucks and get a custom tune.

 

Who wants to wait 6 months for it to get programmed. We could talk about these two devices pros and cons ect all day. I will admit it seems Edge has been having some issues with some of there devices but may sell many more too. Its one of those deals if its working right you cant beat it! If not it could be a nightmare.


Guys Ive just started running lvl3, Ive went 300+ miles on lvl 2 with no problems. You might want to also see if theres a new flash for your edge and might have a fix good luck! Also if anyone calls Edge please post back with what they said id hate to run into this down the road myself.

 

Did this comment really help the OP? I am guilty of doing the same, but please try to help him, not insult him. He obviously made his decision about which tuner he wanted and is having problems. He is looking for help.

I hope so lots of guys are having issues with that tuner its worth the wait and money to have your truck run right. whats the point of spending $300 and your truck not run right?..... guess you should check for edge updates and your truck might run right.
